The Unseen Beauty

As I take a quiet walk down a lengthy path
A tunnel of an assorted multiplicity of color presents itself to me
I am showered upon by gently falling leaves
And those already fallen crunch satisfactorily underneath my feet
There's a slight cool breeze blowing
I close my eyes while locks of hair brush against my cheeks
And I stop, standing still without a single sound
Despite my stillness, I am still dancing
Dancing with the leaves still blowing in the trees
And singing with the birds that sing along
Singing a peaceful and simple melody
That brings to my soul a solace
A sense of unseen beauty
Within this world, within this life...within me

Commentary:

Inspired by my one of many walks, the particular poem expresses the type of euphoria that happens when you connect with the nature around you.  It's a beautiful feeling, and the peace that it brings is something I wish everyone could experience.  It's finding that one quiet spot of nature in the middle of the city, or heading to the mountains, or spending time in a vast expanse of nature with open space that makes that moment happen.  It is a oneness of nature that strengthens you and uplifts.

As stated in the end of the poem, there is more to walking and having a peaceful moment.  It is a connection to the soul.  It makes one feel happier.  It brings out an inner strength, a hope, and a brighter view of life.  The unseen beauty I refer to is speaking of these things.  It is a sense of wholeness and a sense of joy.  There is more to beauty than that which the eye beholds.
