Inspiring my Soul to Sing

The sun smiling down from the azure sky
Kisses the tender buds peaking from below
Taller, ever taller they begin to rise
A beautiful and colorful love to bestow

Tear drops from the heaven's load do fall
Adorning the earth's petals and leaves
With divinely created translucent pearls
Which all life in gladness receives

Trees and flowers gleefully shout
Blooming all colors, bright and bold
In their own manner, a glorious display
And in unified chorus their joy is told

Watch as the grievance of death
Departs as life awakes from its sleep
A palette of color, an artwork reborn
Renews beauty from the heartfelt deep

Oh, what joy exists in this life
As seen by this wondrous Spring
To witness the daily miracles
Always inspires my soul to sing

Commentary:

Another poem inspired by Springtime.  I've already mentioned on a previous post that this is my favorite time of the year as I witness everything coming back to life.  I often encounter people who prefer living in places where the seasons don't change much, but I love watching the transitions of seasons.  There's something beautiful about witnessing the cycle of life going through its ever turning wheel.  It's also quite symbolic of life for us.  We go through our cycles in life, and each one has its own unique beauty.  Life is simply beautiful.  Period.
