I need to sneeze
Loud and long and clear
I need to sneeze
But I can’t do it in here
But if I sneeze, the more the eyes on me
And the more the eyes
The more awkward I will be
The more awkward I will be
Some people sneeze through their noses
Sounding something like mice
Some people sneeze through their teeth like brats
Hissing and spitting like cats
Some sneeze so fast
Some really blast
Others, they sneeze with snorts
Then there’s the rest
From which all things get messed
When the itch comes a-calling
I can’t keep it inside
And wheeze as the wheezers do
I’ve got to now blow with amazing show
And a robust ‘choo ‘choo
I need to sneeze
Loud and long and clear
I need to sneeze
But everybody will hear
The more I sneeze
The more they fill with fear
And the more they fear
The more I’m left alone here
Loud and long and clear
I need to sneeze
But I can’t do it in here
And the more the eyes
The more awkward I will be
The more awkward I will be
Sounding something like mice
Some people sneeze through their teeth like brats
Hissing and spitting like cats
Some really blast
Others, they sneeze with snorts
From which all things get messed
I can’t keep it inside
And wheeze as the wheezers do
I’ve got to now blow with amazing show
And a robust ‘choo ‘choo
Loud and long and clear
I need to sneeze
But everybody will hear
The more I sneeze
The more they fill with fear
And the more they fear
The more I’m left alone here

Ok, so this is what happens when you have overactive brain too early in the morning, LOL. If you haven't figured out by reading this, it's set to the music, I Love to Laugh From Mary Poppins. Why in the world such things pop into my head I don't know. This one got me laughing, so I had to get it written out. I guess I'm into parodies lately.
Parody is actually one of the earliest forms of writing I did. At eight years old, I was rewrote the words to one of my sister's poems to adapt to a situation in my class and shared it with a friend. She thought it was hilarious and had no inhibitions of shouting it out on the playground. That particular friend was always good at letting me take the realm of making up the stories that we would play during recess. Whether she knew it or not, it assisted in my creative development and ability to write creative things. When we left elementary school, our ways parted a little, but those particular memories are very precious to me.
My last song I was uncomfortable with at the moment to try to sing, but this one I'd be willing to attempt. I've already got parts of it stuck in my head. So much for getting it out.
